Q: What services do you offer for individuals?

A: We offer a range of therapy and coaching services. We have hand picked the best talk therapists, coaches and counsellors in the UK, and will match each of our clients to the right person for their needs.

Q: What can you offer my business?

A: We have a range of services for businesses, from a lunchtime seminar on mental health awareness through to a full review of company culture. We also offer internationally recognised training in Mental Health First Aid, and we can also provide EAP services for your team. Get in touch to see what we can do for you.

Q: Where are you based?

A: We’re in London, UK, but there are Gramercy People therapists and coaches all over the UK. Most of our therapists offer sessions face-to-face and remotely and will adapt sessions to fit your needs,

Q: Why do you need to do a consultation?

A: We don’t need to, and if you already know what sort of service you want, drop us a line and we’ll get right on it. But if you don’t know what you want, or want to discuss some ideas of your own regarding what service might be best for you, we’re happy to talk you through the options, and this consultation is free.

Q: How much does it cost?

A: There’s a refundable deposit of £100 to get the ball rolling. If we don’t match you to a therapist within a week, that is repaid to you. After you meet your therapist, if you’re both happy to proceed there’s a placement fee of £400. Therapy starts at £100 per session.

Our workplace services start from £500 for a lunchtime seminar. A two-day Mental Health First Aid Training course costs £2300 for up to twelve staff members, and includes materials and certification. Bespoke programmes and reviews are by consultation. Exact prices will vary depending on the service and you’ll get a full quote before you proceed.

Q: How does your service work?

A: For individuals, once we match you with your therapist, you will have a preliminary session with them. After that, if you agree to work with each other, you will see them, in the same place, at the same time each week, for 50 minutes. We recommend a minimum of six sessions, although many people attend weekly for between six months and a year, and sometimes even longer. Regular attendance is important for therapy to progress, and missed or cancelled appointments will be charged in full.

For organisations, we have a range of off-the-shelf packages to choose from, and can also create a bespoke programme of events and services that are unique to your company. Drop us a line to find out how we can help you.

Q: Do you accept health insurance?

A: We do not currently accept any private health insurance, as BUPA, AXA PPP and others do not cover therapists fees. We can accept charges to a third party, such as an employer, provided this is agreed in writing in advance of the first session.

Q: How do you select your therapists and counsellors?

A: We require a minimum of a postgraduate qualification, membership of a recognised accreditation body (BACP/UKCP/BPS/etc) and 2-3 years experience. All our therapists and counsellors are interviewed by us and background checked before being accepted into Gramercy People, and we specialise in therapy services for working professionals.

Q: What happens if I don’t like my therapist

A: Talk therapy is a very personal experience, and it is important that you feel you can work with your therapist. We work hard to make sure we match you with the best person for your needs, but if you don’t click with them, so long as you let us know within twenty-four hours of your first session, we will connect you to another therapist free of charge.

Q: Do you offer child psychology services?

A: Not at present, although we are planning to expand in this area in the future.

Q: Do you offer couples counselling?

A: Yes we do!
